Air India to Start Direct Flight Services on Delhi-Kuala Lumpur Route, Starting from Sep 15
As per the official details shared by Air India, it will use its two-class configured Airbus A320neo aircraft, which will be operated daily on newly added route.

The leading carrier Air India has kickstarted the direct flight services from Delhi to Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur. Interested passengers will be able to enjoy the seamless non-stop flight from 15 September 2024.

As per the official details shared by Air India, it will use its two-class configured Airbus A320neo aircraft, which will be operated daily on newly added route.

Flight Details

According to the details shared through the official release, flight AI384 will be used to take passengers from Delhi to Kuala Lumpur. It will depart at 1300 Hrs and reach the destination at 2100 Hrs. The return flight will leave Kuala Lumpur airport for Delhi at 0830 Hrs and reach the capital city at 1125 Hrs.

Benefit for Travellers

The new services on the route will offer a convenient option and one-stop connections for all travellers from the U.S., Canada, UK, and Europe via Delhi.

The decision to spread the wings has been taken to strengthen Air India’s network, capturing more distance in Southeast Asia. This will further enhance Air India’s sales, and is expected to attract more flyers from both India and overseas in the future.

Speaking about the newly added route to the network, the Chief Commercial & Transformation Officer of Air India says, “We are happy to support the fast-growing tourism and trade corridor between India and Malaysia with this new daily service. This route will not only serve travellers flying between the two nations, but also offer convenient one-stop connections for travellers from Europe and North America seeking to explore the wonders of Malaysia.” 

Current Route

Meanwhile, Air India currently operates non-stop flights to five points in Southeast Asia from India. The list includes Bangkok, Singapore, and Phuket (Thailand), Yangon (Myanmar) and Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam).
