Malaika Arora Celebrates Sister Amrita Arora's Birthday With Besties Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Photo

Malaika Arora’s younger sister, Amrita Arora, is celebrating her birthday today. To mark the special occasion, their besties, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor, joined for a little bash at their residence. Malaika has now taken to her Instagram handle to give a glimpse of the same. Sharing the photo, she wrote, “It’s ammolassssss bday n we can’t stay calm …… time for our annual squishy squashy huddle ❤️❤️❤️ @amuaroraofficial.”

Amrita, surrounded by cakes, hugs, and her best friends, looked the happiest. She also received another warm wish from her elder sister. Malaika took to her Instagram stories and penned a note that read, “Happy Birthday, my baby sis. I love you.” She also shared an adorable photo of themselves dishing out major sister and fashion goals.

Back in 2020, during an event, Malaika opened up about her bond with Amrita. The sisters have been each other’s strongest support systems, through thick and thin. “Parents give you direction in life and support you. But our siblings also support us, and that is something we should be happy and proud about,” she shared.

She also recalled that she used to take care of Amrita when their mother was at work. “From eating to getting her ready to going to school, I would help her do all her work. I still remember Amrita used to go to the washroom in school after getting permission from her teacher on the condition I was present there. She has been like my own child.”

She further added, “Now that she has her own kids, she behaves like my older sister, and she gives me advice. We share a close and strong bond. We have had our share of days where we would fight and not speak with each other, but she was always the first one to say sorry, whether it was her mistake or not.”

Coming back to Malaika, speculations were rife about her alleged breakup with Arjun Kapoor. Malaika, serving as a judge on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa alongside Farah Khan, dropped hints about her single status and expressed openness to remarriage in a recent episode. This development followed closely after her former husband, Arbaaz Khan, tied the knot with makeup artist Sshura Khan.

Although there hasn’t been an official statement from them about the breakup, there are rumors that Arjun is now dating Kusha Kapila. They were seen together at a party at Karan Johar’s house, and their pictures from the event went viral. However, Malaika and Arjun have been seen together on lunch and dinner dates, contradicting these breakup rumors.
