The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has invited online applications for the recruitment of assistant professors in super-specialty departments of state medical colleges under the health department. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit the online application through the official website of the BPSC at bpsc.bih.nic.into apply for BPSC recruitment 2024.
Under this recruitment drive, the BPSC is aiming to recruit 220 candidates to the post of assistant professor in super-specialty departments. It is to be noted that the application process is underway, and the last date to fill out the applications is January 28.

BPSC Recruitment 2024: Age limit
According to the official notification, candidates applying for the assistant professors’ posts should not be less than 45 years of age as of August 1, 2023. However, it is to be noted that there is no upper age limit for the post.
BPSC Recruitment 2024: Steps to Apply
Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of the BPSC at bpsc.bih.nic.into apply for BPSC recruitment 2024.
Step 2: Look for and click on the recruitment button available on the portal.
Step 3: After clicking, candidates will be redirected to a new window where they have to click on the Apply for Assistant Professor Posts tab.
Step 4: Read the instructions carefully and fill out the application form with the required personal and academic details.
Step 5: Upload the scanned documents in the format mentioned and pay the prescribed fees.
Step 6: Generate a copy and take a printout of the application form for future use.
BPSC Recruitment 2024: Application fee
Candidates will have to pay a biometric fee of Rs 200 for each reservation category, as stated in the official notification. Apart from that, female candidates belonging to the reserved, unreserved category who are permanent residents of Bihar state are required to pay Rs 25 as an application fee. For general category candidates, the application fees are Rs 100, whereas for scheduled caste (SC) and scheduled tribe (ST) candidates in Bihar state, the fee is set at Rs 25. Handicapped candidates need to pay Rs 25, and other category candidates will have to pay Rs 100.
