The Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) has started the registration process for several UG and Integrated PG programmes based on CUET UG 2024 score from August 3. Candidates who appeared for the CUET 2024 exam and are interested in applying for the programme must register on the cutncuet.samarth.edu.in online admission portal – available on the CUTN website. The registration window is accessible till August 12th.
“The candidates shall register themselves on the Online Admission Portal of the Central University of Tamil Nadu from 03.08.2024 (17:00 hrs) to 12.08.2024 (24:00 hrs),” read an official notice.
The Common University Entrance Test, Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024 results will be required to determine the admission process for various integrated postgraduate and undergraduate programs at the CUTN.
CUTN UG and PG Registration: Documents Required
1. Passport-size digital photo
2. Mark sheet for secondary school (Class l0th)
3. Mark sheet from Senior Secondary School, PUC-ll, Higher Secondary School, or equivalent, if relevant
4. The certificate of completion from school, college, or transfer, if relevant
5. The Community Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL) and the EWS Certificate (where applicable, issued in GOI format by the appropriate government)
6. PWD/PH Certificate (where applicable, issued from the relevant authority in GOI format) for applicants under the differently-abled category
7. Kashmiri Migrant & Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) Certificate (where applicable, issued from the competent government in GOI format) for those applying under the Kashmiri Migrant Quota
8. If applicable, Certificate on evidence of Ward of Defence Category.
9. Undertaking form, if the necessary paperwork or certificates are not submitted. Attach plain paper handwritten undertakings that have been scanned.
CUTN UG and PG Registration: How to Apply?
Step 1. Visit the CUTN official website — cutncuet.samarth.edu.in
Step 2. Go to the online admission portal from the homepage
Step 3. To log in, register yourself by entering your personal details
Step 4. After successful registration, choose your preferred course
Step 5. Enter the basic information and CUET UG marks
Step 6. Upload the scanned copies and the required fees
Step 7. Review your application, submit and save the form for later use
CUTN UG and PG Registration: Application Fee
Candidates from the General/ OBC (NCL)/EWS category who want to take admission in CUTN need to pay an amount of Rs 250. Candidates from SC and ST categories need to pay Rs 150. PWD and Transgender candidates are exempted from any fee charges.
This year, the Central Universities – Common Entrance Test CUET – (UG) ZO24 was administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) between May 1 and May 29, 2024, and on July 19, 2024, using computerised testing (CBT). Candidates must also note that CUTN will only accept applicants for admission to its programmes who have registered their names on the online admission portal.
