The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) recently released its Final Results of 2023 list of the selected candidates. Among the 1016 candidates qualified, Srishti Dabas has cracked UPSC with an All India Rank of 6. Srishti mentioned in an interview that she is presently working with the Reserve Bank of India and is posted in Mumbai. Earlier, she worked with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. Talking about her early education, she said that she completed her schooling and higher studies from Delhi. When asked about her hobby, she said that she loves dancing and often practises Kathak.
Presently posted in the Human Resource Department at the Reserve Bank of India, she started preparing for UPSC while working. She said that she dreamt of becoming a civil servant, so she managed to take time out for her preparation in between her job. She further stated that she started preparing for her dream job, while she was in college. Srishti said that she used to work during the daytime and studied during the night. With all her dedication and hardwork she passed the exam with flying colours and is presently on the verge of touching the height she dreamt of one day.
UPSC earlier held the interview of the selected candidates from January 2 to April 9, this year. Around 2916 candidates passed the UPSC CSE Mains and were called for an interview. According to the schedule published, the first phase interview of the UPSC CSE took place from January 2 to February 16 with 1026 candidates. The second phase of the interview was held from February 19 to March 15, which witnessed the presence of 1003 candidates. The third and the concluding phase was held from March 18 which continued till April 9, 2024. The last phase of the interview round witnessed an attendance of 887 candidates. Aditya Srivastava topped the exam, while Animesh Pradhan and Donoru Ananya Reddy managed to secure the second and third positions respectively.
