FTII Admissions 2024: Apply For These Certificate Courses Till February 4
After applying for the courses, one will have to take the written examination, scheduled to be conducted on February 11.

The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune is offering various postgraduate certificate courses in television courses. The institute has invited online applications, admission to which will be done based on entrance examinations. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website of the Film and Television Institute of India www.ftii.ac.in.

The admission process is being conducted for the courses mentioned below:

One year PG certificate course in Television with specialisation in Direction.

One year PG certificate course in Television with specialisation in Electronic Cinematography.

One year PG certificate course in Television with specialisation in Video Editing.

One year PG certificate course in Television with specialisation in Sound Recording and Television Engineering.

It is to be noted that students can apply for these courses until February 4, 2024. After applying for the courses, one will have to take the written examination, scheduled to be conducted on February 11. After qualifying for the examination, candidates will be called for an interview and orientation round. Post this, the final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the students.

FTII Admission 2024: Application fee

Women candidates falling under the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category are required to pay Rs 600 as an application fee at the time of registration. While other category candidates will have to pay Rs 2,000.

The institute said that these courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and will be conducted in three phases.

The first phase will introduce students to the basic concepts that are common for students of all specialisations. The second phase would highlight the development of skills in the various fields of specialisation. In the final phase, students would use their understanding of the medium and skills established in previous phases to complete fiction/nonfiction projects.

FTII is one of the best government institutes, a well-known name for courses related to film and television.
