Karnataka NEET UG, CET 2024 Counselling Ends Today, Check Reporting Dates
As per the updated schedule, the deadline to confirm admission, choose to upgrade, or withdraw from Karnataka NEET UG counselling has been extended to September 5.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has revised the Karnataka National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) Round 1 seat allotment 2024 and the Karnataka Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UG CET) Round 1 choice entry date. As per the updated schedule, the deadline to confirm admission, choose to upgrade, or withdraw from Karnataka NEET UG counselling has been extended to September 5.

The official notification reads, “Date Extended for selection of Choice, payment of fees, submission of original documents and reporting to the college by the candidates who have been allotted engineering, architecture, agriculture, veterinary, B- Pharm, B.Sc. (Nursing), Yoga & Naturopathy etc seats in the first round. (Public holidays on September 7 and 8 may be noted on account of Ganesha Chaturthi and Sunday).”

KEA NEET UG 2024: Revised Counselling Schedule

Exercising Choices by the seat allotted candidates in consultation with the parents: September 5 up to 11.00 am.

Payment of fees only by Choice-1 selected candidates: September 5 up to 4.00 pm Working Hours.

Downloading of Admission Orders only by fee paid Choice-1 Candidates: Up to 2.00 pm on September 6.

The last date for reporting to the allotted colleges by Choice 1, the fee paid and admission order downloaded candidates only: September 6 before 5.30 pm.

Applicants must select one of the four alternatives offered to them. Choice 1 is for applicants who want to be admitted into the first available seats, Choice 2 is for applicants who are satisfied with their seat allotment but would like to be considered for a higher preference, Choice 3 is for applicants who are unhappy with their seat assignment and would like to request an upgrade, and Choice 4 is for applicants who would like to withdraw from the counselling process.

The official notice also states that all participating institutes colleges have been directed to treat all Saturdays and Sundays and Gazetted Holidays as working days to ensure faithful obedience of schedule and also keeping in view the limited time available for conducting counselling.
