When not busy with work commitments, Chris Hemsworth spends quality time with his family. The Hollywood actor, best known for playing the Marvel superhero character Thor is married to Spanish actress Elsa Pataky. The couple is blessed with three kids — their eldest daughter India Rose (11), and twin boys Sasha and Tristan Hemsworth (9). Chris is often seen giving fans a sneak peek into his personal life through various social media posts. Recently, the 40-year-old dropped a video of his daughter India on Instagram, watching one of his movies from the Thor franchise. The video served to be a lovely indication of India’s love for the film.
“I swear it was her choice,” captioned Chrish Hemsworth in the caption. The video captured India lying on a flattened seat in what appeared to be a first-class airplane. Wearing headphones she watched her father on the in-flight entertainment screen. The clip that was playing on the screen showed Chris Hemsworth playing the character Thor from one of his critically acclaimed Marvel movies. Zooming in on the screen for a brief moment, Chris quickly switched the frame. Turning the camera towards himself, he gave a wink, a subtle smile on his face.

Social media users reacted to the video in the comment section. Imagining a possible scenario between the father and daughter, one individual wrote, “‘Dad, Do you know this actor?’ Chris: ‘Of course, I know him, It’s me!’”. “Thor from Multiverse watching Thor,” exclaimed another jokingly. A third user turned a bit emotional as they noted, “There is no stamp of approval on our art that feels better than our kids’. Nothing like your kid looking up at you and saying, ‘I’m proud of you’”. India Rose’s acting debut in Chris Hemwsworth’s 2022 film Thor: Love and Thunder created a buzz among cinema enthusiasts. India essayed the character of Love, the on-screen daughter of the film’s primary antagonist — the God of Butcher (Christian Bale). In an earlier interaction with Marvel.com, Christian Bale showered praise on his co-star Chris Hemsworth for being a super-attentive dad on the film sets.
On the work front, Chris Hemsworth has been roped in for director George Miller’s upcoming post-apocalyptic action adventure Furiosa. The cast ensemble includes The Queen’s Gambit fame Anya Taylor-Joy, Tom Burke, Angus Sampson, and Nathan Jones among others. Furious is expected to hit the big screens on May 24, 2024, in the US.
