Travis Kelce was pleasantly surprised by an unexpected acknowledgement from his rumoured girlfriend, Taylor Swift, during her concert in Argentina over the weekend. The couple, enjoying their time in Buenos Aires, had their special moments captured on camera, particularly during Taylor’s performance of Karma on November 11. Taylor modified the lyrics for a special reference, singing, “Karma is that guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.” Sharing his reaction on the November 15 episode of the New Heights podcast with his brother Jason Kelce, Travis couldn’t help but laugh at the unexpected shoutout.

He admitted, “I might have had a little bit of a clue, but definitely when I heard it come out of her mouth, still shocked me.”

Despite the moment becoming one of the most talked-about highlights of the weekend, the 34-year-old football player shed light on the evening’s atmosphere for those who may have missed the online buzz. Travis began, “For those of you who haven’t seen all the videos of me on your TikTok and your Instagram feed, I was enjoying myself down there in Buenos Aires. The show was even more electric knowing that I had a little bit more to enjoy for, and yeah, Taylor absolutely ripped it. She killed it, and it looked like she was having some fun up there.” The duo was also captured kissing backstage.

Let’s take a step back for a moment. Taylor Swift’s shoutout wasn’t entirely unexpected; there has been a history of Taylor Swift showing serious support for Travis at his NFL games. In a notable instance last month, Taylor was seen wearing a distinctive bracelet with the number ’87’ during a game where the Kansas City Chiefs played against the Chargers. For those unaware, 87 happens to be Travis Kelce’s jersey number.

Travis had repeatedly tried to gift Taylor a bracelet back in July when he attended her concert in Kansas City. While in Frankfurt for their game against the Miami Dolphins, Kelce held a press conference. During this media session, a reporter asked Kelce about his romantic involvement with Taylor Swift, posing the question, “What is the latest status, and are you in love?”

In response, Kelce smiled and said, “The latest status is I got to see her last week. That’s the latest status right there.” The reporter didn’t let Kelce dodge that second part of her question, however, because she quickly asked again, “And the second question was…are you in love?”

Kelce, still smiling, responded, “I’m going to keep my personal relationship personal.”

Neither of the two superstars has officially confirmed or denied any romantic involvement, despite rumours swirling for months now.
