Download a Facebook Reel Video on Android or iOS: Quick & Free
Do you want to download a Reel on Facebook? Fortunately, there is more than one way you can save Facebook videos and Reels! This wikiHow article teaches you how to download Facebook Reels that you've uploaded as well as how to download other Reels using online tools.
Easily Save a Facebook Reel to Your Android or iPhone

Downloading Your Reels

Go to your profile in the Facebook mobile app. Unfortunately, you cannot do this on a computer, so you'll need to use the mobile app on your Android or iPhone. When you open the app, tap your profile picture in the top left corner next to "What's on your mind?"

Tap Reels. You'll see Reels to the right of Posts and Photos under your profile cover image.

Tap the Reel you want to download. If you have account linking enabled, you will see Stories you uploaded from Instagram in your Reels section.

Tap ••• . This three-dot menu icon is on the right side of your screen below the "Send" button.

Tap Download reel. It's at the top of the menu next to a download icon. You can find the downloaded Reel in your camera roll or gallery. If the Reel contains someone else's original audio, or if it's a remix of another Reel with original audio, the downloaded Reel will be muted.

Online Downloaders

Get the URL of the Reel that you want to download. Within Facebook's mobile app or in a web browser, click or tap the "Share" icon (the curved arrow), then select Copy link to save the URL to your clipboard.

Find a secure online downloader. Simply search Google or your search engine for "Facebook Reel downloader" and you'll find lots of sites that offer that feature for free. You don't want to accidentally download malware or anything more than the Facebook Reel, so make sure you're using a reputable site. Some popular and suggested sites are: FDownloader.net SnapSave Publer. Unlike downloading your Reels directly from Facebook, which might mute audio that you've used from someone else, downloading with an online tool instead will keep the audio intact. You can use a computer, tablet, or phone to download Reels online.

Paste the copied URL into the text bar. Every downloader has different text, but it has the same idea as "Paste the Reel URL here." If you have the option, choose the resolution and size for your download. Remember, higher resolution means that it will take up more space.

Download the Reel. Once the site finishes getting the video from Facebook, you'll be able to download it to your device.
