Ferrari drops hi-tech system, to go back to lollipop man
Decision taken after the pit stop disaster at the first-ever night Grand Prix in Singapore.

New Delhi: The Ferrari team has decided to go back to using the hand-held 'lollipop' to tell drivers when to leave the pits at this weekend's Japanese Grand Prix.

The decision has been taken after pit stop disaster first-ever night Grand Prix in Singapore where it had used the traffic light systemtwo weeks back, where a confusion led to Filippe Massa driving from the pits with the fuel hose still attached to the car.

"Right now we need to stay calm and therefore we've decided to go back to the old system," Ferrari team boss Stefano Domenicali told Italian sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport on Tuesday.

In fact Massa and Kimi Raikkonen failed to secured a single championship point in Singapore giving McLaren's Lewis Hamilton a seven-point lead over Massa.
