Nod for Nehru Yuva Kendra work plan

The District Advisory Board has given the nod for the annual plan of the district Nehru Yuva Kendra.

Nehru Yuva Kendra district youth  coordinator Jain George said that the focus would be mainly on the development of the sports sector.

The committee will distribute sports kits to various clubs, hold youth fests and employment training for women through ‘Samajam’. Further, inter-state youth exchange programmes and national day celebrations would be held.

George also informed that those who did not receive the sports kit last year should apply before August 14.
