Sania Mirza has kept her challenge alive in the women's doubles at Wimbledon.

New Delhi: India's Sania Mirza has kept her challenge alive in the women's doubles at Wimbledon.

Along with Israeli partner Shahar Peer, Sania beat the pair of Agnes Szavay of Hungary and Vlaidimira Ulhirova of the Czech Republic 6-4, 6-3 on Tuesday.

The 16th seeds weren't broken throughout the match and will now play the pair of American Lisa Raymond and Australian Samantha Stosur in the third round.

Sania and Shahar Peer had dispatched their first round opponents in similar fashion on Friday.
