Seller Of Country-made Guns Arrested In In Telangana’s Rajanna Sircilla District
The police have arrested individuals who were involved in making and selling the country-made guns.

The issue of country-made guns has become a topic of discussion across the state of Telangana. The police have been conducting searches at various places to catch the rackets indulged in arms dealing. Several reports earlier suggested that there are hundreds of people who are involved in these illegal occupations. According to media reports, after weeks of investigation, the police recently arrested a person involved in manufacturing these firearms. The officials also arrested the two people who reportedly purchased the guns. Police official Akhil Mahajan, Superintendent of Police of Rajanna Sircilla district, revealed that the police have arrested individuals who were involved in making and selling the country-made guns. The miscreants are presently in police custody. SP Akhil Mahajan provided details about the arrest in a press conference at the Rajanna Sircilla district police station.

According to the police official, the name of one person arrested is Rayalingu Shankar. He is a resident of Gajasingaram village located in the Gambhiraopet Mandal. He was reportedly involved in the manufacturing and selling of country-made guns. He sold the guns to people who were indulged in hunting of wild animals.

The police officials mentioned in the press conference that when they reached Rayalingu’s house, he was found making a gun. Several tools were recovered from his house to prove the claims of the police. The officials found two gun barrels, a file, hammer, knife, grinding stone, drilling machine, lathe machine, and an air blower in his possession. A case has been registered against him, and the subsequent probe is being carried out by Yellareddypet Circle Inspector Srinivas.

Adding to it, Rayalingam Chandramouli, Shatraveni Harish and Lockheed Gangaiah, who had purchased these guns from Shankar and used them for hunting animals were also taken into police custody. The police reportedly seized two guns and four trigger parts from them. SP Akhil Mahajan praised the efforts of Yellareddypet CI Srinivas, Gambhiraopet SI Rammohan, and their team for their swift action in arresting the accused. DSP Chandrasekhar Reddy, CI Srinivas, SIs Rammohan and Ramakant, and other staff members were also present at the meeting.
