Suicide bomber kill 33 in Baghdad

Baghdad Two suicide bombers killed at least 33 people in a restaurant in Baghdad on Thursday.

Twenty people have been seriously injured in the attack.

The restaurant is frequented by Baghdad security forces and seven policemen died in the explosion.

Two bombers entered the restaurant at about 9:45 a.m. local time and detonated bombs strapped to their bodies.

Police claim it is one of the bloodiest attacks in recent times.

There were no Americans present at the bomb site.

All the people who died were Iraqi citizens.
