Megastar Chiranjeevi sparked concern among fans after he was spotted with a thumb support brace when he went to meet Rajendra Prasad. The Telugu actor was visiting Rajendra’s house to offer his condolences after his daughter, Gayathri, passed away. In videos shared online, Chiranjeevi was seen reaching Rajendra’s house with his wife.
The actor sported a thumb support brace on his left hand and ensured to keep a safe distance from the cameras. Chiranjeevi extended his support to Rajendra with a hug and offered his condolences to his wife and second daughter. He also paid his last respects to Gayathri’s mortal remains.

Meanwhile, actor and Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan, issued a statement to the press saying, “My deepest sympathies to Shri Rajendra Prasad. The sudden death of Shri Rajendra Prasad’s daughter, Srimati Gayathri, has been shocking. I pray that her soul rest in peace. My deepest condolences to him and his family. I wish God gives Shri Rajendra Prasad the courage to bear this loss.”
Rajendra Prasad’s daughter, Gayathri, died early Saturday morning from a heart attack. She was 38. As reported by Moneycontrol, Gayathri had chest pain and was taken to AIG Hospital in Hyderabad on Friday night. Rajendra Prasad, who was filming, rushed to the hospital, but despite treatment, she suffered a massive heart attack and passed away around 12:40 am on Saturday.
Her last rites was held on Saturday in Hyderabad. She is survived by her daughter, Sai Tejaswini – who is a child actor. Rajendra Prasad and Gayathri allegedly had a strained relationship after she married against his wishes, but they made peace in 2018 at an event for Bewars. The Kalki 2898 AD actor also shared that Gayathri reminded him of his mother, who died when he was young.
