Dharmendra Gets Nostalgic On Eid, Shares A Heartwarming Photo With This Late Star

Many celebrities including Jr NTR, Emraan Hashmi and Nimrat Kaur have wished their fans joy, peace and prosperity on the occasion of Eid yesterday, on April 11. Bollywood’s veteran star Dharmendra too joined the bandwagon. He shared a monochrome photo with late actor Dilip Kumar. The picture is currently going viral on social media. In the photo, Dilip Kumar is seen feeding cake or sweets to Dharmendra with his own hands. Sharing the photo on his X handle, Dharmendra wrote, “Eid Mubarak” in the caption. Dharmendra and Dilip Kumar used to share a deep bond of friendship and were often spotted together at events in Mumbai.

Jr NTR also tweeted on the occasion of Eid. He wrote, “Eid Mubarak! May this Eid bring you joy, peace, and prosperity.”

Actor Suniel Shetty urged everyone to cherish the spirit of unity and embrace kindness on the festival of Eid. He tweeted, “On this auspicious day, let’s cherish the spirit of unity, embrace kindness, and spread gratitude. Wishing you all happiness and prosperity! #EidMubarak.”

Earlier, during the demise of Dilip Kumar on July 7, 2021, Dharmendra took to social media to share the last picture with his ‘brother’ Dilip Kumar as he mourned his demise.

Dilip Kumar breathed his last at 7:30 a.m. On Twitter, shared a picture of the late actor’s mortal remains, where he caDharmendra n be seen breaking down at the loss of the legendary actor.Sharing the photo, he wrote, “Saira ne jab kaha. Dharam, dekho Sahab ne paplak jhapki hai. Dosto, jaan nikal gai meri. Maalik mere pyaare bhai ko jannat naseeb kare” (When Saira said, ‘Look, Dharam, Sahab just blinked his eyes,’ friends, I was shocked. May the Lord send my loved brother to heaven).”

In another tweet, Dharmendra wrote, “Dosto, mujhe dikhawa nahin aata lekin main apne jazbaat par qaaboo bhi nahin kar paata. Apne samajh ke kah jaata hoon. (Friends, I don’t know how to fake it, but I cannot control my emotions. I say everything considering you as my own).”

Dharmendra has worked with Dilip Kumar in the Bengali film Paari and its Hindi remake, Anokha Milan.
