Chris Pratt might be slipping into the shoes of his Guardians Of The Galaxy character Star-Lord again for a Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie. The actor also expressed his desire to work with James Gunn in the DC Universe. With the conclusion of Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 3 last year, fans have been speculating about Chris Pratt taking on the role of Peter Quill aka Star-Lord one more time for MCU. The rumours kickstarted after the film concluded with a title card hinting at the possibility of Chris Pratt’s return. In a recent media interaction, the Hollywood star has opened up about the chances of him appearing in both MCU and DC films.

Chris Pratt engaged in an interaction with ComicBook.com for the promotion of his upcoming animated film The Garfield Movie. He lent his voice to the titular character. During the conversation, the host wanted to know whether the Jurassic World actor was looking forward to featuring as Star-Lord in an MCU movie or was thinking of shifting gears to DCU. In his response, Pratt claimed that he wished to be a part of both the superhero worlds.

“It probably makes more sense that I would be Star-Lord again. But anything is possible, especially with James over at DC. Maybe there is something that would be right over there. Maybe both. How about both? Let’s do both. I think it is 100 per cent both,” said Chris Pratt.

Guardians Of The Galaxy ended with a loose thread with Star-Lord aiming to build a life on Earth as the other members part ways. The post-credits scene came with the tagline, “The Legendary Star-Lord will return.” While this does not confirm Chris Pratt’s return as the superhero character, it leaves a door open for the same.

Earlier, James Gunn teased the introduction of two Guardians Of The Galaxy cast members in DCU. One among them was Chris Pratt. However, the DC CEO did not want him to play Star-Lord but appear in a different character.

Meanwhile, The Garfield Movie, directed by Mark Dindal is slated to hit the big screens on May 24. Samuel L Jackson, Hannah Waddingham, Ving Rhames, Nicholas Hoult, Cecily Strong and Snoop Dogg have lent their voices.
