Jab We Met Actor Divya Seth Shares Heart-wrenching Post After Daughter's Death: 'I Hope You Can See Me...'

Actor Divya Seth Shah’s daughter, Mihika Shah, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 5, in Mumbai. According to sources close to the family and reported by India Today, Mihika initially developed a fever, which was followed by a seizure. The devastated family held a prayer meeting on August 8. On Saturday, the actress, known for her roles in Jab We Met and Dil Dhadakne Do, posted a selfie with her late daughter on Instagram. In the photo, the mother-daughter pair is seen smiling warmly at the camera. Divya also shared a heartfelt note that Mihika had written for her on her birthday, a few years ago.

The caption read, “When I look at you, I see the purest love I’ll ever know, Every wounded soul finds their way to you, in your care they heal and grow, Divya, gods gift, my blessing from above, who’s love is stronger than the eye can see, in 8.1 billion people on earth mama, your the perfect mother for me, my Dibi, I love you .’ Mihika,” Divya added, “No one in this Lifetime or any other Will Love Me like You did Mihika I hope you can See Me I promise to be Brave I will do everything We planned See you on the Beach And in the Jungle honey Into the Light now.”

This is the second photo Divya Seth Shah shared after the untimely demise of her young daughter. Just a week ago, she had posted another selfie with her daughter. “Thank You for being mine,” she wrote in the caption.

Actress Soni Razdan had taken to the comments section and written, “Unbelievably heartbreaking for you and your family Divya. Words don’t express anything at such a time. You are in all our thoughts constantly as is Mihika. This is just very hard to comprehend honestly … sending you all the love in the world.” Actress Lillete Dubey had written, “Darling Divya.. nothing one can say can ever make this bearable .. heart breaking .. & unimaginable .. “ May the angels sing lovely Mihika to her sleep .. “ thinking of you & sending you big hugs and so much love.”

Divya Seth has worked in films like Jab We Met, Dil Dhadakne Do and Article 370. Her mother, veteran actress Sushma Seth has played pivotal parts in films such as Dhadkan, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and TV series, Dekh Bhai Dekh.
