Jennifer Lopez is moving forward after her split from Ben Affleck. The actress is redirecting her focus to herself. Looking back, Bennifer — as their fans affectionately call them — tied the knot in Las Vegas on July 16, 2022, only to separate the following year. On August 20, Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck.

A source close to Jennifer Lopez told Life & Style, “It really did a number on her. Friends and family have noticed a major shift — she’s finally ready to move on. She decided to do some introspection — she says four divorces will do that. Get ready for an all-new JLo — she wants to start a new chapter.”

The insider further claimed, “JLo was so in love with him and grateful for a second chance. She was all in. She thought Ben was, too.” The actress even had “not.going.anywhere” engraved on the 55-year-old’s engagement ring. “So she was heartbroken when it started to fall apart,” the source added.

A few days ago, InTouch Weekly reported that Jennifer Lopez would never forgive Ben Affleck for giving up on their marriage. “Jennifer would never make a scene in public, especially in front of their kids, but she has so much resentment. She’s made it plain she’ll never forgive Ben for being such a coldhearted je*k and giving up on the marriage in such a savage manner,” a source told the publication.

“She agreed to play nice and try to wrap things up without any fireworks. But the tension is palpable, especially when Ben rolls his eyes and refuses to accept any responsibility for the marriage’s failure. Ben has made it crystal clear he’s not going back to JLo, and she’s fuming. They were bickering behind the scenes even before this recent meet-up, which went about as badly as everyone feared. The sooner the ink dries on the divorce papers, the better it’ll be for everyone,” the insider added.
