Jr NTR admitted he is nervous about Devara’s release. The actor, during the trailer launch in Mumbai, said that Devara is not only his first release since RRR but it is also his first solo release as the Telugu leading star after six years. This has built up his nervous energy. However, he added, he is eager to see showcase the trailer and film for fans. Devara also stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, marking their first Telugu films.
“I am very nervous because this is my next film after RRR. RRR was with my co-actor Ram Charan but this is my solo release after six years so there is a lot of nervousness which is building but very happy to launch the trailer of Devara in the city of Mumbai," Jr NTR said at the trailer launch.
The last time Jr NTR was in Mumbai for promotions, it was for RRR. Recalling his experience at the time, Tarak said, “The experience we had when we were promoting RRR here was surreal. The acceptance of North has shocked us all and I hope it repeats with Devara."

Directed by Koratala Siva, ‘Devara Part 1’ will unfold in two parts. The magnum opus is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, and presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. The film is set to release on September 27, 2024, in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film’s narrative is an action-drama, promising a captivating experience for audiences across India.
Earlier this year, Jr NTR spoke about the film and said people will be proud of it. Discussing the film at the Tillu Square’s success event, he said, “I don’t know if this is a bit too much but I’ll say it anyways. I’m wearing a shirt today and this shirt has a collar." After a small pause, Jr. NTR added, “Even if Devara is delayed by a few days, I guarantee you that Devara will be a film that will make all of you raise your collars in pride. We are working hard and will continue to work hard to deliver the best for our audience."
