Manisha Koirala Shares A RARE Pic With Her Mother, Smile For The Camera

Recently, she shared a rare picture with her “best friend” – her mother, Sushma Koirala, from a recent event. The candid photo has garnered admiration from many fans, who are charmed by the mother-daughter duo.

In the photograph posted by Manisha Koirala on her social media handles, both she and her mother were seen dressed in beautiful sarees. The actress opted for a bright yellow and golden drape. On the other hand, Manisha’s mother wore a traditional pink saree. The duo held each other close as they smiled brightly at the camera. In the caption, Manisha wrote, “My best friend my ama…blessed to have her in my life.”

While Manisha Koirala earned a lot of fame in showbiz, she faced a personal struggle with cancer. Manisha has often shared how her parents and family were always by her side throughout her battle. In an interview with NDTV, she revealed that during her fight with cancer, she realised only her immediate family, including her parents and brother, remained close to her. She said, “I realised that when everybody leaves me, these are the people who will be with me.”

Moreover, the actress opened up about how her focus was on taking care of her parents and making the most of what she has in life. She told the portal, “What I have is ageing parents, whom I love. I’m the apple of their eye, I’m the centre of their universe, and I’m going to cherish that. In fact, I fly back to Kathmandu more often now and spend time with them. And I love that.”

On the professional front, Manisha Koraila was last seen as Mallikajaan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi. The Netflix show also starred Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal and others.
