Producer Shylaja Nag Radhakrishna Has This To Say About Darshan's Next With Tharun Sudhir

Darshan Thoogudeep, known as the Challenging Star among his fans, is gearing up for his upcoming film, D59 – The Saga of Sindhoora Lakshmana, which delves into the life of the Indian freedom fighter from Karnataka, Sindhoora Lakshmana. The film’s producer, Shylaja Nag Radhakrishna, engaged in an interaction with News-18 Kannada Digital, shedding light on the project. Nag, the co-owner of Media House Studio Private Limited, will be backing the film under her production house.

According to Nag, the script development for the film is currently underway. However, no concrete plans regarding the commencement of the shooting have been finalised yet. The tentative title for the film has been set as D59 – The Saga of Sindhoora Lakshmana, with the final name to be decided once the script is locked. Nag expressed confidence that the film will kickstart as soon as Darshan gives the green light for shooting.

This collaboration marks the third venture between Nag’s production house and Darshan. Nag expressed optimism about crafting an engaging storyline for the film, emphasising the significance of portraying the story of Sindhoora Lakshmana on the silver screen. She lauded Darshan’s dedication and described him as a real-life fighter, making him a perfect fit for the role of Sindhoora Lakshmana.

Nag also commended director Tharun Kishore Sudhir, attributing the success of previous films like Roberrt and Kaatera to the synergy between Sudhir and Darshan. Notably, Sudhir’s father, actor Sudheer, had previously portrayed the character of Sindhoora Lakshmana in theatre, adding a familial connection to the project.
