Salman Khan on Monday treated his fans and followers by sharing a heartwarming photo of himself on the occasion of Eid Ul Adha. The actor took to social media to extend warm wishes to his fans. In the picture, Salman was seen posing against the backdrop of a serene sunset. Sharing the photo, he wrote, ‘Wishing ev1 Eid Mubarak!’
Salman Khan’s fans are eagerly waiting for his next film. The actor will be seen in AR Murugadoss’s directorial Sikandar. The announcement was made recently and Salman Khan will be sharing screen space with Rashmika Mandanna. Well, today the makers shared another good news. The shoot for the film will start on June 18.
Taking to their Instagram handle, Nadiadwala Grandson shared the poster and wrote, “#NGEFamily is super excited to share the date of our first day of shoot for #Sikandar on the 18th of June with the BIGGEST Air Action sequence!” The news has gone viral. During the recent Eid celebrations, Salman Khan revealed his upcoming film with AR Murugadoss, titled ‘Sikandar,’ which is slated for release on Eid 2025. He made the announcement via Instagram, sharing a title slate with the caption, “Iss Eid Bade Miyan Chote Miyan aur Maidaan ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo…. Wish u all Eid Mubarak!” Rashmika Madanna also confirmed the news. She took to her Instagram Stories and wrote, “You guys for a long time have been asking me for the next update and here it is. Surprise!! I’m truly grateful and honoured to be a part of Sikandar.”
Murugadoss is currently managing several projects, including an action film featuring Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan, tentatively titled SK23. To ensure a smooth transition to working on Sikandar, he plans to complete a significant portion of SK23 in advance. This strategy is designed to allow him to concentrate fully on Salman Khan’s upcoming project.
Sikandar represents AR Murugadoss’s highly anticipated return to Hindi cinema after an eight-year hiatus following Akira (2016). This film also reunites Salman Khan with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, a duo known for their blockbuster successes such as Kick, Judwaa, and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.
