Singer Ariana Grande was spotted with her boyfriend Ethan Slater at the Stanley Cup Final together in Florida. The couple looked very much in love as they saw the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers match at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida on June 8. This is one of the couple’s rare fully public appearances after their controversial dating scandal came to light last year. Reportedly, Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater began dating while they were still married.

Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater first met in December 2022 while they were working on the movie adaptation of Wicked. In July 2023, rumours started circulating that Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater were dating. The same month Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez announced their separation.

In July, an insider told People Magazine that the couple quickly bonded on set. The insider said, “It was obvious on the set from early on. They were very sweet to each other and often seen laughing together. Everyone just thought they were both happily married, though, and didn’t expect them to end up dating.”

Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez, who is a real estate broker, got divorced in October 2023, two years after they got married in May 2021. Ethan Slater filed for divorce from his wife Lilly Jay, with whom he has a young son. Ethan Slater and Lilly Jay got married in November 2018, after dating since 2012. During this scandal, Lilly Jay spoke to Page 6 and criticised both Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater. She referred to her family life as a “collateral damage” of the affair and described Ariana Grande as “not a girl’s girl.”

In September 2023, it was reported that Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater moved in together in New York. A source told US Weekly, “Ethan informed his friends and soon-to-be ex-wife that he’s living with Ariana full-time in New York. They are really happy and really good for each other.” While Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater are continuing their romance, Ariana Grande’s ex-husband Dalton Gomez has also moved on.

On June 10, actor Maika Monroe, It Follows fame, shared a series of photos on Instagram that featured Dalton Gomez. The post included a picture of both of them kissing, thus confirming their relationship.
