Varun Dhawan’s niece Anjini Dhawan has made her acting debut with Binny And Family. The film was released today and has been getting an overwhelming response. Varun Dhawan also reacted to it and shared his review. He took to his social handle and shared the poster of the film.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Varun Dhawan wrote, “In cinemas today so excited for u…@anjinidhawan it’s such a heartwarming lovely film.” Binny And Family tells the story of three generations of a family and the lack of communication between them. It also stars Pankaj Kapur, Himani Shivpuri, Rajesh Kumar, and Charu Shankar.

In an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha, Anjini says that she’s extremely happy to have a star like Varun in the family and that she doesn’t ever feel the pressure of living up to his feats. “Varun’s journey is very inspiring. And I never felt the burden of achieving what he has. I’m very proud of the family I come from. I’m very excited about watching all their movies. I’m the biggest fan of the Dhawans. If anything, I only get to learn from them,” she tells us.
Speaking about the film, Anjini Dhawan earlier told News 18, “I was so confident that Binny And Family was the film I wanted to start my career with because the story was very personal to me, and I didn’t want to get confused.” The trailer for Binny and Family promises it to be a light-hearted comedy based on family bonds and generational conflict.
Varun has Citadel India with Samantha Ruth Prabhu in his pipeline. Directed by Raj and DK, Citadel is the Indian adaptation of the International series of the same name which was created by the director duo, the Russo Brothers.
Rumours of Varun Dhawan collaborating with his father David Dhawan for a rom-com have been going on for a long time. Fresh updates have been coming in and the recent one mentions that the film is titled Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. It is all set to release in October 2025. Well, an official announcement is still awaited.
