Leo Director Lokesh Kanagaraj Surprises Vijay Fans In Theatre, Celebrates FDFS With Anirudh
Thalapathy Vijay's Leo, which hit theatres earlier today, has been getting an overwhelming response from the audience.

Leo director Lokesh Kanagaraj visited a movie hall in Chennai to watch the Vijay starrer. He was also accompanied by his Leo team and music composer Anirudh Ravichander. In a photo that surfaced on social media, Lokesh was seen standing inside a movie hall as he greeted fans with folded hands and thanked them for showering immense love on his directorial.

Leo, which hit theatres earlier today, has been getting an overwhelming response from the audience. Fans have already declared it a ‘blockbuster’, with some also arguing that Rajinikanth’s recently released Jailer is ‘nothing in front of Leo’. Several videos of Vijay’s fans cheering and dancing inside theatres are also going viral on social media. “I can say this is a masterpiece by superstar @actorvijay. Dont dare to miss a single scene in this, all scenes are important part of this #LeoFDFS,” one of the fans wrote white praising Leo on X.

Leo is an action thriller which also stars Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon, Mysskin and Priya Anand in pivotal roles. The film also features Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy co-wrote the script with Lokesh Kanagaraj. The music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and its cinematography and editing have been handled by Manoj Paramahamsa and Philomin Raj, respectively.

News18 Showsha’s review of Leo reads, “Despite a promising premise, Kangaraj falls for the very similar filmmaking trap of compromising style with substance. It’s not that there’s nothing significant here but there are a lot of insignificant speed-breakers which become the issue. The almost three-hour run time also makes you a bit iffy in your seat. The connection between Kaithi and Vikram to create the LCU seems a bit forced. If only the makers would have kept the action at the core, this would’ve been an amazing attempt majorly because of its cinematic style.”
