Vijay Antony is one of those rare breed of actors who have successfully juggled a musical career with acting. The actor-musician is presently working on his film Hitler. The upcoming film directed by Dhana Sekaran. The movie’s teaser, which offers viewers an early look at what to expect from the movie and Hitler’s universe, was recently released by the makers. The film team had earlier stated in a news release that the movie “is an ordinary man’s revolt and the battle to bring an end to dictatorship." The teaser, which is edited to the beat, depicts injustices done to normal people as a result of political ploys. While Gautham Menon, a police officer, is entrusted with apprehending the culprit; Vijay Antony appears to be a vigilante who brings justice to his own doorstep.
The one minute and 12 second teaser gave enough information to suggest that the movie is a cop-crime thriller with a possible wild goose chase. In addition, politicians — referred to as ‘the dictators’— seem to be the ones holding the strings. According to the teaser, there are three main characters: the cop, the dictator, and the killer, who are pulled together by specific circumstances.
Dhana Sekaran is known for directing films like Dhehi, Vaanam Kottattam and Padaiveeran. Riya Suman plays the lead female role in the movie. Aadukalam Naren, Redin Kingsley, Vivek Prasanna, Charanraj, and Tamizh are among the ensemble cast members of Hitler.
The technical team for the movie consists of editor Sangathamizhan E, cinematographer Naveen Kumar, and music composer combo Vivek-Mervin. Hitler’s release date has not yet been disclosed.
The most recent role that Vijay Antony played was in the October 6 release Raththam. Leading roles in the CS Amudhan-directed movie were played by Mahima Nambiar, Remya Nambeesan, Nanditha Swetha, Nizhalgal Ravi, and a host of other actors.
When the movie was released, reviews ranged from mixed to unfavourable. While many critics and fans praised Vijay Antony’s performance, others said the story was unimpressive.
