Adobe Launches Native Lightroom And Firefly AI Apps For Apple Vision Pro: All Details
Both of these tools will be available as native apps on VisionOS, and the company says that these apps have been "purpose-built" for VisionOS.

Adobe has announced that it is bringing its Firefly AI, its own text-to-image tool, and the popular Lightroom application to the Apple Vision Pro, which was launched on February 2 in the US. Both of these tools will be available as native apps on VisionOS, and the company says that these apps have been “purpose-built” for VisionOS.

Users can move around the images that are generated using the Firefly AI tool, and then, the generated images can be placed on perhaps, augmented on any real-world space, such as a wall or on top of a table.

The company notes that “the interface of the Firefly VisionOS app should be familiar to anyone who’s already used the web-based version of the tool — users just need to enter a text description within the prompt box at the bottom” and then they need to hit “generate.” This will create four images for users.

It added: “The Firefly AI model behind the new VisionOS app is designed to be commercially safe and applies a content credential ‘nutrition label’ to images that embeds metadata to transparently mark them as AI-generated,” said the company.

Coming to Lightroom, the Vision Pro version is said to be similar to what you get on the iPad, but it has been fine-tuned to better suit the platform, and it has been made so that users can use the UI with hand gestures. Adobe says that it is “easier to navigate with hand gestures than the more feature-laden desktop software.” These additions should come in handy for creatives using the Vision Pro, giving them access to native apps to play around with.
