iQOO Z9 5G With Android 14 And 5000mAh Battery Launched: Price In India, Features

iQOO has introduced its latest budget offering, the iQoo Z9 5G in the Indian market this week. The newest Z series smartphone from iQoo packs a punch alongside a ton of features without being heavy on your wallet. The iQoo Z9 5G houses a 50-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 120Hz refresh rate screen on the front.

The phone comes out of the box with the latest Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14. It also has a layer of dust and water resistance with an IP54 rating. The early sale for the iQoo Z9 5G will begin on March 13 at 12:00 pm IST. Whereas, the official sale of the product for all users goes live the next day on March 14 via Amazon India, the iQoo India Store and other retailers.

The phone features a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel that offers a screen resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, pixel density of 394ppi, and 1800 nits of peak brightness. It also has a 91.90 per cent screen-to-body ratio and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The display of the iQoo Z9 5G features DT-Star 2 Plus glass protection.

Hardware

The iQOO Z9 5G packs the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 octa-core chipset with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. You get the device with Funtouch OS 14 version that is based on Android 14.

Cameras

The iQOO Z9 5G has a dual-rear camera setup that features a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation and an aperture of f/1.79. The phone also has a secondary 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. The front camera on the smartphone houses a 16MP sensor to ensure that the selfies are sharp and crisp. The iQoo Z9 5G’s primary camera sensor also can shoot 4K video at 30fps.

Battery

The iQOO Z9 5G gets a large 5,000mAh battery along with support for 44W fast-wired charging and you get the adapter in the box.

iQOO Z9 5G Price in India

The iQOO Z9 5G has been launched in India for a base price of Rs 19,999. This variant features 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The second model includes the same amount of RAM but higher storage at 256GB. The iQOO Z9 5G is available in two colour variants including Brushed Green and Graphene Blue.

The brand is offering a flat discount of Rs 2,000 if you are using either an ICICI or HDFC bank card. It would bring down the effective cost of the products to Rs 17,999 and Rs 19,999. iQOO will be competing with brands like Nothing and OnePlus Nord in this range.
