Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 is famed for bringing popular celebrities to participate on the show. Recently, it has been criticised by netizens following the elimination of Vivek Dahiya. Last weekend, during the wedding special episode, the actor-dancer who tried his best and delivered some outstanding performances was evicted from the show. He lost his chance to Sangeeta Phogat. In the latest, his wife, actress Divyanka Tripathi, reacted to his sudden eviction.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Divyanka Tripathi replied to netizens who have chastised the show’s producers for including the actress in that episode for TRP even as they knew Vivek Dahiya was going to get removed. Reacting to this, the actress wrote, “In all honesty, the beautiful moment didn’t remain that special after the result. Joy taken away in an hrs time.”
The special episode featured two of the industry’s most adored star couples, Dipika Kakar-Shoaib Ibrahim and Divyanka Tripathi-Vivek Dahiya together on the stage. Divyanka even decked up in her bridal lehenga for a special performance.
In an interview with ETimes, Vivek Dahiya – after his elimination – expressed, “I reached home, and only Divyanka and I were there at home. Maine Ek kona pakda and main phoot phoot kar roya.”
Meanwhile, Divyanka earlier stated how Vivek was completely dedicated to the show and performed despite injuries. Divyanka uploaded a series of images of one of Vivek Dahiya’s performances on the show on Instagram. The first image showed a close-up of Vivek with a muscular spasm on his right abdomen. In the caption, Divyanka wrote, “A cramp visible on your abs but didn’t show on your face! This act is very special honey. You carried it off after a 101 fever, IVs at the hospital, and a cramp right on stage! Super proud of you my love! PDA khul ke! Couldn’t resist putting up this appreciation post.”

Vivek thanked Divyanka for the support and said. “Aww thank you love. You know I’m just trying to do my best and make you proud.”
The current season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa features diverse contestants including Shiv Thakare, Shoaib Ibrahim, Sangeeta Phogat, Tanishaa Mukerji, Anjali Anand, and others. They are also set to welcome wild card entrants on the show as well. The show is being hosted by Gauahar Khan and Rithvik Dhanjani and judged by popular celebrities Arshad Warsi, Farah Khan, and Malaika Arora.
