Mohammed Siraj unleashed a cricketing tempest in the second Test at Cape Town, leaving South Africa in tatters with his awe-inspiring six-wicket haul. ‘Miyan’ Siraj’s enchanting performance restricted the hosts to a paltry 55 runs on the opening day of the ongoing clash. Meanwhile, the match witnessed South Africa’s top four batsmen amass a mere 11 runs, marking their second-lowest total in history and the lowest since 1927. Siraj’s eighth over proved especially lethal, delivering an awkward bounce that had Bedingham gloving it to the slip cordon. With half the side back in the pavilion at 34, Siraj continued his dominance, dismissing Marco Jansen with two in-dippers and leaving the all-rounder befuddled with a well-executed leg-cutter.
