This Avatar-Themed Make-up Trend Is Too Good To Miss

In recent years, make-up artists have started using advanced make-up products to create truly magical results. Now a video is going viral that shows a make-up artist transforming into a figure from fantasy film Avatar with just one make-up product. In the viral video, make-up artist Christina Alexandra Duerr uses a sharp brush to draw on her face using a UV glow makeup product that only shines in the dark. In normal light, her face appears spotless but once she moves in a dark surrounding, her face glows up with neon blue light, giving her a mythical look.

Christina carefully draws little dots, lines, and shades across her face to look like the Na’vi-human hybrids from the blockbuster franchise. Her look is complimented by fake lashes and olive brown coloured contact lenses.

While sharing this clip, Christina wrote, “Since Avatar makeup is trending again.” In the caption, she mentions that she used Paradise FX Neon UV Glow in the shade Dark Matter by the brand Mehron Makeup to create the look. Her video has gathered over 13 lakh likes, since it was posted on February 16.

In the comments, many people expressed awe at Christina’s transformative make-up skills. Commenting on the above-mentioned video, an Instagram user wrote, “This is the only makeup tutorial thing that I’ve ever actually watched and thought was awesome.” Expressing the same praise, another mentioned, “Out of every make-up video I’ve seen over the years you have by far out done the rest. The simplicity and the beauty is just wow. I’m actually stunned.” Someone described her look as the “Only acceptable Halloween makeup for 2024 now, this is too amazing!”

Many people suggested that Christina should go to rave parties or Disney World’s Avatar-themed venues using this make-up look.
