Video Shows Polar Bear With Can Stuck In Mouth ‘Asking’ For Help

Polar bears are generally found in the Arctic regions and prefer to live in their own territory. It is not quite often that they have encounters with humans. Recently, a polar bear left its territory to feed itself and ended up in trouble. A video circulated on social media showing a massive polar bear running to a human for assistance when a piece of trash got stuck inside its mouth. What happened next was totally unexpected.

In the clip, a polar bear is seen strolling up the stairs of a residence. A tin-can is seen stuck in its mouth, which appears to make the bear uncomfortable. The individual who recorded the footage can be seen waving his hand at the bear, but it walks away. However, it reappears after a while and approaches the door. The person tries to remove the tin-can from the bear’s mouth, but it remains trapped in the can.

After failing to help the polar bear, the individual sought assistance from professionals. A group of vets came in to help. The veterinarians anaesthetised the bear and extracted the tin-can from its tongue. They also treated the injuries on its tongue before releasing it into the wild. As a gesture, they also kept some food near it so that the polar bear could feed itself once it recovered. As per the video, the polar bear was seen enjoying life with its cub. The video depicts the bear playing with its cubs and living a healthy life.
