Sometimes, things take a brutal turn when social media users start body shaming as well. Body shaming is the act of making negative comments about someone’s body. Recently, a clip made rounds on the internet where a man has called out his trolls, who allegedly secretly recorded him while he was changing in the locker room. They not only recorded him but also body-shamed him for his appearance.
A popular Instagram user with the handle @NicksLosingIt took to the social media platform Instagram and criticised his trolls, who have allegedly recorded him while changing in the locker room after swimming. In the clip, he hits back at the people for clicking pictures without his consent. Apart from that, he also takes it as a challenge and even says that it won’t matter to him after three days as it’s just going to be another ‘Before Shot’ for him. He also brutally shuts the people down for trying to body shame him by secretly capturing his picture. He captioned the video, “You Need To Do Better, Mind Your Own Business’ -Joey Swoll.”
After the video was posted on social media by NicksLosingIt, it instantly went viral. Many were enraged to see the clip and went to the comment section to call the activity completely illegal. Many of them stood in support of him and extended their support. One of the users wrote, “I don’t know why I’m seeing this post, but I’m struggling with weight loss and gaining back. I’ll just say that this just gave me a wake-up call to focus more on my weight loss journey. Well done for the response, dude.” Another user commented, “Who would do that??? That’s crazy!!! Show them what you’re made of!!”
So far, the video has collected around 825,000 views on Instagram.
