K-Pop Idol Breaks Down In Tears During Fan Event, Watch Emotional Moment
The actor-singer was left in tears after the fan expressed her gratitude to him during the event.

K-pop idols and their fans have also shared a unique bond that is evidently different from a typical celebrity-fan relationship. Besides directly connecting with their favourite stars through social media, fans also get a chance to know their idols through specially-organised online and offline fan meetings. One such bond was recently reflected at a fan sign event where a K-pop idol got emotional with his fan’s gesture.

It was none other than VIXX’s Ken who got overwhelmed at an event, breaking down into tears. In videos and pictures making the rounds on the internet, the K-pop idol could be seen trying hard to hold back his tears as he spoke to one of his fans. Throughout their conversation, he held onto the fan’s hand and keenly listened to her. After a certain point, one can see tears rolling down his cheek as he wipes them off.

While the context of their conversation is not clear, social media posts suggest that the fan expressed her gratitude to Ken, thanking him for giving her the opportunity to meet him in person. “I wanted to say thank you because your Bubble messages gave me strength when I was going through difficult times. I’m so happy because I didn’t know my chance would come so soon. I also cried after listening to ‘To You’ during the fan meeting. Thank you so much for releasing such a great son,” the fan reportedly said, leaving Ken in tears. The singer constantly tried consoling her and gave his best wishes.

Fans instantly reacted to the video and showered the K-pop with love. They shared how the artist loves his fans and holds special events for them.

On The Work Front For The K-Pop Idol

Ken recently lent his voice for Love Me Again in the This is a Campus Romance Series webtoon. In the music video, he could be seen recording the track in the studio, which is also the theme song for the webtoon.

Earlier this year, Ken parted ways with his former agency, Jellyfish Entertainment, after his contract expired. He joined alongside Leo in 2012 and was among the final members to quit the agency. The actor-singer is now a member of S27M Entertainment, states an Allkpop report.
