An action-packed episode of WWE NXT went on air on July 16. The show opened with the debut of The Rascalz. The stable went head-to-head against Gallas in their maiden appearance at NXT. Following an enthralling bout between the two teams, Ethan Page put his NXT championship on the line against Dante Chen. Roxanne Perez addressed the crowd and announced that she would defend her title against Thea Hail. The duo engaged in trash talks and the argument quickly turned physical. Thea expressed her wish to become the youngest NXT women’s champion and caught the title holder in a double wristlock. Ridge Holland ultimately came forward to separate them.

The Rascalz vs Gallus:
The TNA stars initially dominated the fight with double-team moves. After trading some strikes, The Rascalz launched a big dropkick. Wolfgang took out Miguel with the same move. The newcomers hit the combined finisher on Mark to win the debut fight at NXT.
Brooks Jensen vs Je’Von Evans:
Evans sent Jansen out of the ring with a dropkick. He bounced back and thrashed Evans on the announce desk. Shawn Spears caused a distraction which helped Evans hit a big dive. He followed it up with a top-rope cutter to secure the win.
NXT Championship– Ethan Page (c) vs Dante Chen:
Dante Chen started on a promising note but got a kick in his face. The champion sent Chen outside and attacked him with a diving elbow. Chen came back with a big forearm. Page dodged the move and used the Ego’s Edge to retain the title.
Tatum Paxley vs Izzi Dame:
Dame troubled Paxley with an elbow drop before launching the Razor’s Edge. Paxley countered the attack and threw her opponent into the ring post. She came up with the Psycho Trap to win the match.
Jacy Jayne vs Lola Vice:
Jayne entered the arena, putting on a Cody Rhodes mask. She easily took down Vice, who came back with some brutal kicks. Jayne was preparing a hip attack when Vice used a spinning back elbow to seal the deal.
The O.C. vs OTM:
The OC mostly dominated the proceedings while the OTM used some double-team strikes. Gallows launched the finisher on Nima before Michin took down Parker with a big dive. Nima then received the Magin Killer as The OC comfortably won the fight.
North American Championship– Oba Femi vs Duke Hudson:
Hudson showed his grit early on and hit Femi with a big boot. He followed it with a German Suplex, which the champion could block. Femi then dragged Hudson to the announce desk and hit the powerbomb to defend his title.
